  • Rick McDermott

    Owner and President, Rick's journey into the world of sales and management training was anything but conventional. He spent much of his career working with several of North America’s largest steel distribution centers providing a broad range of products, value-added services, and logistic solutions to companies in diverse industries such as Oil & Gas, Semi-Conductor, Aerospace, Power Generation, and Capital Equipment Manufacturing.

    Rick was first exposed to Sandler as a client in 2004 and made significant impacts on his career. As Rick explained, "being trained by the grizzly sales veteran is the norm in most businesses which could be good or bad. Sandler really showed me all the options that I had available in the sales conversation."

    A native of Northeastern Ohio, Rick is a 1989 graduate of the University of Akron where he earned his BSBA in Marketing with a focus on the industrial sector. In 2013 he began his distinguished career providing professional development opportunities for growth minded individuals seeking to be the best at their craft.   • Rob Yoho

    Partner and COO for 25 years Rob has been driven by the passion he has to grow people and organizations. Rob has worked with hundreds of companies and is a sought after speaker on sales, sales management, social media, strategy, and goal setting. He brings his 18 years of Sandler Training experience to MP Solutions.

    In 2010 Rob was voted one of Cleveland’s Inside Business’s Top 25 under 35 and has worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cleveland. Rob is an avid runner, golfer, & hobby farmer who lives in Lagrange with his wife Amy and their three children Zander, Lyla, and Flynn.Contact Rob at: ryoho@sandler.com

  • Laura Biro

    Laura brings over 25 years of experience in client relationship management to her role as Client Success Manager at Sandler. Throughout her career, she has held diverse positions that have equipped her with a broad skill set and a deep understanding of client needs. In her current role, Laura is responsible for developing and implementing strategic processes that support clients in achieving their business goals. She is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring clients derive maximum value from Sandler’s products and solutions. Laura also serves as the primary point of contact for administrative client communications.

    Outside of work, Laura is an active supporter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and regularly takes part in its annual fundraising events to promote awareness and fund research. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, experimenting with new recipes, and spending quality time with family and friends. Laura lives in Middleburg Heights with her husband Tim, their rescue dog Sammy, and their two rescue cats, Henry and Claire.

  • Simon Miedza

    Simon brings a hands-on perspective to business development, shaped by years of working alongside his family's Northeast Ohio manufacturing business, PharoPLAST, a small contract injection molding company. Navigating supplier relationships, client outreach, and the real-world pressures of a manufacturing operation gave Simon a firsthand appreciation for what it takes to grow and sustain a business.

    That experience is what drew him to Sandler. Simon connects naturally with business owners and sales professionals in the industrial and manufacturing space, understanding their challenges not just in theory, but from the inside. His goal is simple: help people build the kind of consistent, confident sales approach that creates lasting results, the same way that Sandler did for his business.

    Simon is a born and raised Northeastern Ohioan who graduated from CSU with a BBA. If he's not talking about polymers or sales, you'll probably find him climbing mountains with his buddies or scuba diving with his father.
