One of the ways we’re using AI with our clients is as a role-lay and pre-call warm-up tool.
The salespeople getting the most value from the Sandler AI Roleplay tool aren’t necessarily treating it as another training tool.
They’re using it to warm up before the call.
Before a prospecting call, discovery meeting, or important sales conversation, they can use AI to practice their approach, sharpen their talk tracks, and prepare for different prospect responses.
I actually did this myself recently.
I had some calls to make, but I just wasn’t feeling quite right. So I jumped into the AI role-play and ran through our No Pressure Prospecting framework.
I practiced my:
Pattern Interrupt
Mini Up-Front Contract
30-Second Commercial
Prospecting talk track
Then I stopped the role-play and made the calls.
That’s where I think AI for sales becomes really powerful.
It’s not about replacing sales training, sales coaching, or human conversation. It’s about giving salespeople another opportunity to practice before performance.
When you take a few minutes to warm up your sales skills before a real conversation, you can walk into that call or meeting feeling more confident, prepared, and intentional.
Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.
And with AI-powered sales role-play, that practice can be available whenever you need it.
