Troy Montgomery, founder of True North Growth Advisors, is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years of experience leading high-performance teams and driving growth across technology-driven and high-culture industries. His professional journey began not in a boardroom, but on the basketball court—coaching collegiate and high school athletes to exceed their own expectations. That early foundation in leadership and motivation laid the groundwork for a pivotal transition into sales in 2002 with Gateway Computers, where Troy sharpened his sales acumen and deepened his passion for guiding others.
Throughout his career, Troy has held transformative leadership roles. As Vice President of Sales at WatchGuard Video, a division of Motorola, he drove substantial revenue growth and forged strategic partnerships that reshaped the business. Later, as Chief Revenue Officer at Omnigo, he led a high-performing team to record-breaking sales years, implementing innovative strategies that expanded market share and strengthened customer loyalty.
