Our Indianapolis Team

  • Paul Lushin
Paul founded Lushin after realizing he was a corporate misfit. He wanted to work smarter and see results faster than traditional business structures typically allowed. He wanted to help other entrepreneurs, presidents, CEOs, and business owners refocus their companies’ sales processes. And he had a vision of creating client success without being disingenuous.A business owner since he was 17, Paul makes a point to go beyond surface concerns and learn about his clients’ deepest challenges. He treats every situation as if his personal well-being depends on client success—because it does. Paul’s mission is to help his clients realize their own potential by empowering them to be their best.Outside of the office, Paul races cars with his sons and enjoys working in his yard.
  • Aaron Prickel
Following his own advice, Aaron strives to lead by example and often arrives at the office before anyone else to take advantage of focused, productive time. A Lushin consultant since 2007, Aaron acts as the glue that binds and strengthens the team’s collective talents. He encourages his clients to stay true to themselves and their missions, and he adapts his training style to best serve each individual.Aaron emphasizes understanding the underlying cause of business performance problems: belief, behavior, or technique. He aims to teach clients the simplicity of effective solutions.Winner of the 2015 Ball State Achievement Award from the Miller College of Business, Aaron spends his precious free time outdoors, usually cheering on his three kids in their respective sports competitions.
  • Brian Kavicky
A six-year veteran on the Lushin team, Brian connects with his clients using a direct—sometimes sarcastic—communication style. His favorite piece of advice: “Stop doing that.” He helps clients eliminate unproductive behaviors to make way for action that drives results. Brian thrives on the daily opportunity to positively impact people’s lives—both professional and personal. In his training, Brian aims to provide clarity for his clients. He wants people to learn what they need to do and gain the confidence to do it. His goal is to help them find their swagger. A licensed pilot and backyard grill master, Brian also lends a hand when his family shows cows around the country.
  • Rob Lime

Rob Lime is the artsy guy at Lushin. He’s into woodworking. Film. Music. Museums. He’s our resident Renaissance man. Though Paul may fight him for that title.

Rob is your quintessential corporate misfit. He doesn’t ascribe to the notion that working more is more worthwhile. On the contrary, he seeks the nobility of balance. In your first business consulting meeting, he’s as likely to recommend The Tao of Chip Kelly as he is The Millionaire Next Door. Western and Eastern philosophers populate his bookshelf. A trained music teacher, Rob is a patient pusher. He believes, “you can work less, make more, and have fun while you’re doing it.” A self-described old-ish millennial, he is a natural fit with his tech entrepreneur clients.

His best piece of advice in sales training... or in life: Don't Quit.

Whether he’s mining his DISC results to better understand his mom, or he’s witnessing something profound with his daughter Sophia, Rob is a family man who enriches his relationships one interaction at a time.

  • Emily Shaw
Emily Shaw knows Lushin inside and out. Before joining the team as a consultant, Emily was a client with a strong determination to learn more about sales than her traditional training environment allowed. With a voracious appetite for research and learning, she set out to master the business, leading her down the path to consulting.Using the same “tough love” skills she has honed as a single mother, Emily doesn’t shy away from personal conversations with her clients but rather allows them to even out the playing field where vulnerabilities are used to build a level of trust that strengthens the relationship—and therefore results—on a fundamental level. When she isn’t playing with her daughter, she’s watching the latest episode of ‘Forensic Files’ because she loves getting to the bottom of a mystery. She also enjoys assembling or painting her latest home décor piece/art project with her favorite flavor of the week podcast on in the background – this week’s is TED Radio Hour.
  • Cody McWhorter

After choosing Professional Selling as a field of study in college and then pursuing a career in sales, sales management, and eventually sales training, Cody has dedicated his career to developing salespeople.

Cody's goal is to simplify the often-misunderstood world of selling and help clients see that it's just another conversation while also challenging them to be the unique individuals they are, and not just another boring robot. He seeks to teach you something new about yourself and your business, all while making you laugh and think at the same time.  Its ok to not be perfect, its ok to be scared, but it’s not ok to give up on yourself.

Outside of the office, if Cody is not spending time with his wife and their two dogs, you can find him at the lake fishing, attending college football games, or traveling some back country road on one of his motorcycles.

  • Anna Patarino

Before joining Lushin, Anna Patarino was a client who spent years as a sales associate in consulting and the tech world.  With a background in leadership development and pursuing a master’s in organizational psychology, she helped companies build stronger people strategies and more human workplaces. Her passion has always been helping others step into the version of themselves they’re proud of.

At Lushin, Anna brings that same energy to coaching. She teaches that sales isn’t about pressure or persuasion, it’s about permission, curiosity, and being real. She helps sales professionals show up as their full selves, ask better questions, and build trust without forcing a pitch. Her style blends the structure of Sandler with the belief that sales can feel good for both sides.

Beyond her work with clients, Anna shares her journey and insights online, encouraging others to lead with intention, take ownership of their growth, and stay grounded in who they are. Whether she’s coaching someone through a tough conversation or helping a team hit their next goal, her mission is simple: help people grow by being more of themselves, not less.

  • Dan Faber
Dan started showing entrepreneurial tendencies at the early age of twelve, when he started a lawn business and grew it to 21 lawns per week. After graduating from college, a mentor urged Dan to consider a career in sales. At first, he found this to be off-putting, assuming that career salespeople all matched the stereotype but he learned this couldn’t be further from the truth.Dan has sold in a variety of environments, ranging from door-to-door overseas, to enterprise custom software, to marketing services or software sales. No matter the selling environment, Dan’s strengths in sales have proven to be a relentless dedication to process and a genuine curiosity in others that allows him to ask questions and really listen for what matters. Before joining the team as a sales management consultant, Dan was a Lushin client remotely for 7 years. He achieved such a level of success by applying the Lushin methodology that when the opportunity arose to join the team, Dan and his wife Kailey decided to move their family of 5 to Indianapolis so Dan could pursue a career helping others along a path that has helped him so much.

Dayna moved to Indiana with her Hoosier husband in 2006 to raise their 2 children in the Midwest. She can spend hours listening to audio books while crocheting, but also loves power walks with her dog and happy hour margaritas with her husband and friends.
  • Brian Daniels
Brian is who Lushin clients engage with the most often outside of their coach or trainer, helping to ensure they are receiving all the wonderful benefits of working with our team.  He graduated with degrees in History and Political Science from Ball State University and has a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law.  When he isn’t engaging with clients or the Lushin team, he enjoys traveling with his wife to new places around the globe, training for long-distance races, and anything Sci-Fi (or Star Wars).
