Kim Piller
Kim’s professional career began in the natural healthcare industry in 1981 when he joined his family’s business. The family business, Gordon Piller Inc. named after Kim’s father began importing and distributing nutritional health care products in 1967. The market niche was very specific and small, supplying the Chiropractic and Naturopathic professions. Kim’s roles varied from customer service, shipping, and accounting, to leadership and management roles (and taking out the garbage.)
Kim’s leadership role quickly focused on sales. Kim began calling on accounts from coast to coast, developing long-term relationships with existing clients, and bringing in new business. In May 1998 the family business went through an acquisition and Kim joined the new company as District Sales Manager for Canada and several states in the US. Kim grew the business development department into a highly successful team of two District Sales Managers and fifteen sales representatives producing double-digit growth for year after year.In addition to his dedication to his professional success, Kim is strongly dedicated to being active in other communities.
A TEC (The Executive Committee) member for 14 years, member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, Board Member and Chair for The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Board member for the MH-LHIN (Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network), and current Board Chair for CarePoint Health in Mississauga.Kim attributes success to a mindset of lifelong learning, developing a network of positive influences, asking good questions, and listening with intent. Kim holds a Business Administration Marketing Management Diploma from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and a degree of Bachelor of Commerce – Marketing Management from Ryerson University and is a member of the International Coach Federation.
He grew up in Port Credit, Ontario, Canada where he still lives with his wife, Irene. Together they are the proud parents of four incredible children and three incredible grandkids. He enjoys spending his spare time out on the water sailing as he is a self-described “avid racer”, and enjoys leisurely walks through the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve on Vancouver Island.
